These diamonds represent approximately 15% of all diamonds based on cut factor. An excellent investment for those seeking a diamond that reflects nearly as much light as an ideal cut stone, but for a lower price. These diamonds have a very close, mathematically determined proportions to their ideal cut counterparts and will have the same fire and brilliance to the naked eye.

Color: H

This diamond falls into the "Near Colorless" category and has no perceivable traces of color when viewed in the face up position. "H" color diamonds will have a slight tint of color when viewed through the back (or pavillion), but are still excellent choices for platinum and gold jewelry. "H" color diamonds are also much more plentiful than diamonds of higher color grades, making them less expensive.

Clarity: VVS2

VVS diamonds (which stands for "Very Very Slightly Included") have inclusions that can only be seen using a microscope. VVS diamonds are very rare and require gemological equipment to locate the tiny imperfections. Often times VVS diamonds are purchased for cultural reasons, where the "clarity" is synonomous with "purity".
