7.20 Carat Columbian Emerald & 2 Carat Emerald Diamond Ring

This monstrous ring was a custom designed piece for Gordon McKibben. He wanted to give his wife a very special anniversary present. Since his wife's stone was the emerald, we concocted the following piece. This ring featured a center genuine Columbian Emerald weight a massive weight of 7.20 carats. It had a beautiful medium green color with natural inclusions that are typical with emeralds. The emerald measured an astounding 11.72x11.58x7.47mm. To add to the ring, on each side, there were 1.0 carats of emerald cut diamonds. That's 2.0 full carats! Each one of these diamonds were high quality diamonds that could have been used as engagement rings. The diamonds were eye clean Vs1-Vs2 clarity and H-I in color. The ring was made of Platinum with 18K yellow gold accents. The total metal weight was 11.0 grams.
